hellooo February

Hellooo!

Happy February to you all. The first few weeks of second semester have been absolutely crazy, and I think it's weird to think that this might be the craziest it'll get.

In the past three weeks, I've been going through sorority recruitment, a visit from a Kappa leadership consultant (one of my main duties as VPO), a really bad cold, internship applications and the general madness of shopping classes and figuring out a new academic schedule and groove.

Here are just a few things that I've been thinking about and stumbling upon these days:

The Young Professional's Ultimate Guide to Twitter - couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I gave my Twitter profile a little bit more personality.

How to Manufacture the Best Night of Sleep in Your Life. As the semester goes on and my stress levels increase, my light and noise sensitivity go crazy and sleep is a hard thing to catch. I'll try to keep these tips in mind.

Favorite late-night listen.

Everyone seems to love sloths, but I just don't. This article, while absolutely fascinating, just makes them seem more creepy to me.

As one of my favorite pastimes is writing to-do lists, this article speaks to me on a spiritual level. I think one of my favorite tips was to be realistic. Conflicting priorities can bring on unhappiness.

Don't like Budweiser and I don't drink, but oh my goodness this commercial is the best.

Lovely jewelry inspired by classic books -- love the Gatsby necklace.

My favorite look of the Grammy's.

Why Millennials Prefer Snapchat. Very interesting--inclined to agree. You?

Millennials believe Snapchat offers them an intimate, personal form of communication, and an authenticity they crave but aren’t finding elsewhere. Despite the fact that some shots are staged, Snapchat provides an “unpolished glimpse” into someone’s life. “It’s personal, but not too personal. Welcome to the future of communication,” said MTV.

Also--crazy news. Emma Watson interviewed J. K. Rowling for Wonderland Magazine. Apparently Rowling regrets putting Hermione and Ron together? It should have been Hermione and Harry? I ship it.

Related: Emma Watson's gorgeous Wonderland cover photos. I like the one on the right.

This February I'm looking forward to: season 2 of House of Cards, Valentine's Day spirit, internship interviews (pretty please?), and reflecting on the past year of being 20.

What are you up to this month?
